We’re thrilled to be taking the role of Ensemble-in-Residence at the Whiddon Autumn Festival, a new arts Festival founded by our Director, Freddie Crowley, and launching in September 2021.
The Whiddon Autumn Festival is a new arts festival set to take place every September across the picturesque Whiddon Parishes of North Dartmoor.
Some of the UK’s most talented young musicians will converge on this beautiful corner of rural Devon for three days of musical events curated by local-born Artistic Director Freddie Crowley. The musical offering will include chamber music, solo song, education workshops, community participation events, and choral performances by Ensemble-in-Residence the Corvus Consort.
2021 will see an initial three-day Festival, designed to work within whatever Covid restrictions still exist, and with great potential for growth in future stagings. Over the next few years, the Festival will be expanded to include more events with a wider variety of musical genres and styles, and aims to become a cornerstone of Devon’s cultural calendar.
