Music from the Renaissance and the present day
Renaissance works are placed alongside music by living composers, throwing a particular spotlight on women composers from both periods.
Corvus Consort presents music from the Renaissance and the present day, focussed on themes of the natural world and Marian adoration. With a particular focus on music by women, Renaissance Italian composers Raffaella Aleotti and Sulpitita Cesis feature alongside living composers Judith Weir, Cecilia McDowall, Hilary Campbell and Anna Semple.
