Quartet performance
Music for a summer’s evening, themed around flowers and the beautiful month of May.
Corvus Consort presents a programme of summer music, ranging from renaissance madrigals through part-songs of the 19th and 20th centuries to the present day, centred around Benjamin Britten’s wonderful Five Flower Songs, Op. 47, and marking Gustav Holst’s 150th year with his Five Partsongs, Op. 12.
